v0.6.0-beta44
A follow-up to beta43, for the same feature and the same reason: it was doing nothing and not saying so.
If Minutiva cannot see your calendar, it now tells you
beta43 made the calendar offer reach you as a notification. It then did nothing for the first person who tried it — because calendar permission had never actually been granted on that Mac, and nothing in the app mentioned it.
Permission has three states, and only two of them were drawn. Refused showed a warning. Granted showed your list of calendars. Not yet asked showed nothing at all — so you got a switch that was on, a sentence promising notifications, and no explanation of why no meeting ever appeared.
There is now a row for that state, with a button that asks for access. If macOS has already made up its mind and will not show the prompt again, the button says so and opens the right pane of System Settings instead of quietly failing.
Granting access is noticed straight away
Minutiva read the permission once when it launched and kept that answer for the rest of the session. So turning calendar access on in System Settings appeared to change nothing until you quit and reopened the app. It now re-checks when you come back to it.
