Everything Minutiva could do is now free, and there is a new mode for clinicians.

Every feature, free

Speaker identification, the People voice address book, sharing to your other Mac and live voice tagging were Premium. They are not any more — they are simply part of the app.

The honest reason: the Free/Premium line was drawn in May against a much smaller version of Minutiva, and the app has moved a long way since. Keeping it would have meant taking features away from the people already using them. If you have a licence it still works and still says so in Settings; it just no longer decides what you can do.

Clinical Mode, for therapists

A new mode for clinicians, off unless you turn it on. With it, nothing leaves the Mac: cloud summary providers are refused outright, sharing is unavailable, and summaries are written by your Mac’s own model.

Notes are written as a nota de evolución — how the patient presented, what was worked on, how they responded, homework, and the plan for next session. Approving a note freezes it and records your cédula and the session number; later corrections are appended as dated addenda rather than edits, because a clinical record is sin enmendaduras. And the moment you approve, Minutiva offers to delete the recording — the point at which it is obviously safe to do so.

Clinical Mode needs a licence that includes it. If you are a clinician and want to try it, write to support@sodulcelabs.com.

Updates install themselves — really, this time

beta41 added this and could not demonstrate it: the fix shipped inside an update, so it still needed the old path to reach you. From this release on, a downloaded update installs itself once you are not recording and have switched to another app. This is the first release that can prove it.
