A small correction to an assumption that should never have been made.
New installs detect the language
Minutiva used to start out assuming you speak English. If you don’t, the first thing that happened was a transcript full of nothing useful — a model told to expect English writes “speaking in a foreign language” when it hears anything else, and you had to know to go and change a setting to find that out.
A fresh install now detects the spoken language instead. If you’ve already chosen one, nothing changes — your setting is kept as it was.
The same bug was far worse on the iPhone, where the choice wasn’t saved at all and reset to English every time the app launched. That’s fixed in Minutiva Go 1.12.
