Minutiva Private v0.6.0-beta3
The third and likely final beta in the v0.6.0 cycle. After this shakes out for a couple of days, v0.6.0 stable.
What’s new
Re-cluster now preserves the names you assigned to speakers. Previously, clicking Re-cluster speakers (v0.6) on a meeting (either from the kebab or via the bulk action in Settings) would reset all your speaker names back to defaults — "Marisa" would become "Speaker 1" again. Now, each new cluster gets matched to its most-similar previous cluster by centroid cosine similarity, and inherits:
- The name you assigned (only if it was a custom name — default
Speaker Nlabels still re-default to fit the new size-descending order) - The confirmed link to your People address book, if any
- Any pending cross-meeting suggestion state
This closes the last limitation called out in the v0.6.0-beta1 release notes. Re-cluster is now safe to use on meetings you’ve already labeled.
Nothing changed in
- VBxHMM clustering algorithm (still cosine + merge-back from beta1)
- People model
- Audio capture pipeline (Bug C, Bug D, Bug E all stayed fixed)
- Public APIs / file formats
What’s coming in v0.6.0 stable
Nothing planned beyond what’s already in beta3 — if a few days of dogfood doesn’t surface anything, beta3 becomes v0.6.0 stable as-is.
