The names you give people now come with the transcript when it leaves the app.
Exports kept calling people “Speaker 1”
You name a voice, the app shows that name everywhere — and then saving, copying or sharing the transcript printed the original placeholder instead. Every format did it: plain text, Markdown, CSV, PDF, the copy buttons and the share sheet.
They were reading the label written when the recording was made, rather than the name you assigned afterwards. All of them now carry your names.
The window and the file agree
The same mix-up could also make a line on screen show a placeholder after two voices had been merged, while the saved transcript showed the right name. Both now work the same way, so what you read is what you get. The iPhone app had the same flaw and is fixed as well.
Click the number
The segment count beside a voice — the “45” — opens that voice’s clips, where you can play each one and move any that belong to someone else. It was tucked inside the … menu before.
